The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has appointed Amandeep Doll as its new director for England.
Ms Doll, who is currently head of engagement and professional belonging at the RPS, also works as a specialist medical pharmacist at Nottingham University Hospital Trust. Over the past eight years at the Society, she has played a key role in leading its inclusion and diversity strategy.
RPS chief executive Paul Bennett praised Ms Doll’s dedication and leadership, describing her as a respected senior leader who brings energy and enthusiasm to her work.
Interim director of pharmacy, Elen Jones, highlighted her extensive experience, including leading training at Kettering General Hospital and shaping advanced practice initiatives at the RPS.
Ms Doll said she was “honoured and privileged” to step into the role, expressing her commitment to advancing the Society’s royal college ambitions and supporting pharmacists across England and Great Britain.
She starts her new post in August.
